Análisi

Si de algo no ha pecado la academia este año, ha sido de predecible:

1. Mejor Película: sale The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, entran War Horse y... Extremely Loud and Icredibly Close (iba a ser la primera vez que una cinta de Daldry no fuese nominada a mejor película).
2. The Tree of Life se cuela en Mejor Película y Mejor Director.
3. Mejor Actor: Gary Oldman y Demián Bichir dejan fuera a Michael Fassbender y a Leonardo DiCaprio (lo de DiCaprio ya es maldición pero tenía esperanzas puestas en Fassbender y su no-nominación me da penilla...).
4. Mejor Actriz: Rooney Mara deja fuera a Tilda Swinton.
5. Mejor Actor secundario: Max Von Sydow (Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close), casi desaparecido en la temporada de premios, gana a Albert Brooks (Drive) sin estar presente en ninguno de los 3 premios importantes (Globos de Oro, SAG y Bafta), aunque en este caso, creo que Brooks no se merecía la nominación (adelanto de la crítica de Drive :D). De todos modos, el ninguneo de esta última cinta (solo nominada a mejor Montaje de Sonido, punto fuerte de la película), me dio algo de pena ya que disfruté con ella.
6. Mejor Actriz secundaria: Janet McTeer (Albert Nobbs) se impone a Shailene Woodley (The Descendants), y McCarthy logra la nominación.
7. Mejor Película de Animación: The Adventures of Tintin se queda fuera después de ganar el Globo de Oro.
8. Solo 2 nominadas en Mejor Canción a cargo de The Muppets y Rio.
9. ¡Midnight in Paris logra 4 nominaciones! (Vale, eso es una alegría); Película, Director, Guión Original y Dirección Artística.

Las ha habido sonadas, como la inclusión de Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close en Mejor Película o la exclusión de Michael Fassbender y Leonardo DiCaprio en Mejor Actor a favor de Gary Oldman y un sorprendente Demián Bichir. Otras no han chocado tanto, como que entrara Mara y no Swinton (aunque ésta última estuviera en los 3 grandes premios de la temporada). Y luego ha habido otros casos más curiosos; como que Spielberg lograra nominación en Mejor Película (donde su candidatura pendía de un hilo) y no en Mejor Película Animada, donde parecía más fuerte.
